Entering online competitions and contests is great fun, it's exciting and if you win an online competition it can be extremely profitable. Here are some great tips to help get you started and hopefully winning with our competitions online.
1. Enter As Many Competitions And Contests As You Can Find With Prizes You Like
This is a no brain-er really, the more online competitions and contests you enter, the greater your chance to win a prize. We have loads of great competitions open to people from all over the world, why stop at just one? Some competitions allow you to enter multiple times,... if a competition or contest has 1000 entrants and you enter it once you have have a 1 in 1000 chance of winning, if you enter it 10 times you have a 1 in 100 chance of winning. You have significantly increased your chance of success..... The same rule can be applied to entering more than 1 contest of competition, the more you enter the greater your odds of winning!
2. The More Prizes The Better
Enter competitions and contests online that have a number of prizes available. The more prizes on offer the better your chance of winning. The same rules apply as in section 1.
3. Enter Less Popular Competitions Online
Competitions online with less entrants e.g. the fewer people entering them, the easier they will be to win. Enter more of these types of competitions to increase your chance of success. Still try to enter every contest and competition with an appealing prize at least once.
4. Read the Small Print!
Some contests and competitions online are only open to residents of certain countries like our UK Competitions. Don't risk getting yourself disqualified. Always read which countries residents the competitions you are entering are open to. The last thing you want to do is spend time entering competitions that you are not eligible for. We have categorised most of our competitions for ease of navigation.
5. Setup Alternate Email Accounts
Setup some different email addresses and use these to enter competitions. You may get some junk mail from some of the competition organizers, don't let this email invade your daily business, it might as well be going to an email account you have set up specifically for this purpose, rather than to your personal one. Make sure you always check these email accounts for notifications incase you win.
6. Enter Real Details
Don't be a walley....Imagine if you won a great prize but hadn't entered the correct details! Always put your real details in when asked.
7. Use "Web Form Filling" Software
Use "Web Form Filling" software to speed up the process of entering competitions.
This can enable you to complete web forms with just a few clicks, which can make the difference between entering 20 competitions/contests in an hour or to being able to enter 100 competitions/contests.
If you use Firefox as your browser there are loads of cool add ons for this purpose, like Google's Toolbar and iMacros also has an auto fill feature that allows you to fill in your details with one click.
Don't use software that automatically enters competitions for you, this won't help you win and you will most likely be disqualified.
8. Share your Competitions
If you know about a competition that isn't listed on Competition Online, use our contact form to tell us about it. Also share great competitions with your friends on facebook and other social platforms, share the wealth!! I'm sure your friends will be pleased with the chance of winning a great prize absolutely free!
9. Enjoy yourself and have Fun!
If entering contests, competitions and prize draws stops being fun and starts to feel like a bit of monotonous, why not take a break and come back to it later. There are always more online competitions for you to win added every week or so.
